Her designs for children are refreshingly distinct and adorn bedding, curtaining, apparel, greeting cards, gift wrap, gift bags, paper party goods, jigsaws, umbrellas, aprons, mugs and children’s books.
Barbara has exhibited at designer fairs in New York, Paris, Bruxelles, Frankfurt and Birmingham, England and also at Licensing International, New York. She currently sells and licenses her work at Surtex, New York and Printsource, New York.
Barbara’s inspiration comes from the simple things in life, all kinds of animals, fish, birds and plants, the natural world and the world of children. Everything she loves in life can be seen throughout her design collection, including her love of travel, food, cookery and her vegetable garden.
Barbara’s repeat designs are quite outstanding. She has a natural feel for balance of colour and spacing which give her unique designs fluidity and an unmistakable quality and harmony that is very pleasing to the eye.
Barbara is happy to work to commission creating new images to clients specifications or adapting her existing designs to fit any product.
